I just learned this, and I’m going to share with you LTC Expert Publications SNAP statement. And then what I want you to do is I want you to come up with your own SNAP statement. I think this not only clarifies what your business does… Now I realize you know what your business is capable of and what your business does for your clients, but saying it on video, or saying it in writing even, is very powerful and helps people really understand what your services will actually for them.
So I’m going to read you our SNAP statement, sort of like an introduction, or the 30-second elevator pitch, not really a pitch but more of a statement of what your business does for your clients. And SNAP, S-N-A-P actually stands for something, but at the moment I cannot remember what that is.
So here’s our SNAP statement.
“LTC Expert Publications clients gain visibility, authority, trust in their local area, which increases revenue for their senior care business. We do this by providing them with a new, unique content, video, managing their social media, and helping them get more reviews and testimonials. We also provide beautiful, search engine optimized websites if needed. Wouldn’t you like to be the most trusted senior care resource and business in your local area? If so, let’s talk.”
So that is a SNAP statement. So you say… The formula is this. What your clients gain, or what happens to them when they engage in your services. And then how you provide that service or what you do to help them get to that place. So, “LTC Expert Publications clients gain visibility, authority, and trust in their local area, which increases revenue for their senior care business”. That’s what happens when people do business with us, when they engage in our services, that’s what they get, that’s what happens.

So what you should do is you should think about your senior care business and start with, when… At ABC Homecare, our clients tell us that once they engage with our services they feel X, Y, Z, they have peace of mind, they… their families… sleeps better at night, whatever it is they get, and that happens because we provide them with safe, quality, effective care with caregivers who are trained, who understand blah-blah-blah, or this disease process, or that disease process. Keep it short, but tell people exactly how they will feel if they use your services because this is the way other clients feel when they use your services.
When it… If you have an aging parent, wouldn’t you love to have peace of mind and know that they’re safe in their own home. If so, let’s talk.
So that is called a SNAP statement. I think everybody should have one. I think it’s a brilliant idea, and you should commit it to memory. So once you have it written down, you should be able to just rattle that baby off. So if I stood up in front of a BNI group, or a women’s entrepreneur group I could just say LTC Expert Publications, clients, the invisibility, authority, and trust and blah-blah-blah. I could just say that whole thing, rattle it off really quick and everybody in that audience or watching that video will have very clear understanding of what we do for our clients.
